Youth Classes offered at ACA this Fall

Once again, the Adrian Center for the Arts (ACA) is offering a robust program for area youth – and there is something for everyone!

Preschool: ACA member and illustrator Dori Durbin will teach Citrus Art on Sept. 24, Tissue Paper Art, Oct. 22; Squeegee Art, Nov. 19 and 3D Wooley Sheep Art, Dec. 17. All classes will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Parents can participate! Warning: there may be some sticky and colorful fingers at the end of the classes! 

Youth 8 -12: Durbin will also offer Drawing Real and Whimsical People, Nov. 16; 3D Picasso People, Nov. 30; Bottlecap 3D art, Dec.17.

Clay: ACA resident clay artists Jim and Amy Anderson will return to the ACA Youth Studio to offer a great selection of clay classes for young people: Whimsical Windchimes, Sept. 22; Friendly Creature Pinch Pot, Oct. 2; Holiday Tree Nov. 10 and Express Yourself in Clay, Dec. 8. All are offered from 2-4 p.m. and are geared toward 8 – 12 year olds who are interested in expanding their skills in clay or just getting to know the medium.
