Adrian Center for the Arts Community Clay Classes this Fall

There is a full compliment of offerings for the ceramicist in you at the Adrian Center for the Arts (ACA) Community Clay Studio this fall.

Long-time Clay instructor and ACA Programming Director Pi Benio is offering “One and Done Plus One –Plates,” Oct. 6 and 13; and “One and Done – Christmas Candle Holder,” November 15. Benio also offers a six-week session “Exploring Clay” for all ability levels. This will run Saturdays from Oct. 5 – Nov. 9.

ACA resident artist Laura Van Camp will offer, “Raku Jack-O-Lanterns” a two-session class on Sept. 29 and Oct. 20. Raku is an ancient art using an outdoor kiln in a process that transforms the piece quickly and in interesting fashion. Van Camp will also offer, “Cocktail Party” – creating functional vessels in six sessions Thursdays, Oct. 3 – Nov. 7 and “Pinch’n Bells” Dec. 1.

Cravens will offer a “Create an Angel,” Nov. 2.
