The Adrian Center for the Arts (ACA) Gallery and Youth Studio will be open during the Star Gaze event being held September 21 hosted by telescope company PlaneWave Instruments. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
The ACA will sponsor a photo booth featuring Impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night painting as a backdrop. Families and individuals can have their photo taken which will then be posted to the Adrian Center for the Arts Facebook page.
ACA Special Projects Director Taina Bundshuh will treat youth to a glo paint in the Youth Studio located in the Gallery Building #46. The Gallery will also be open for the public to enjoy. The glo paint project is free.
PlaneWave is a leader in the Telescope Industry and moved its operations from California to Adrian in 2018. The ACA is an important part of the PlaneWave vision to bring the arts and sciences together on its campus. The ACA leases six buildings used as studios on the property which is on the grounds that formerly housed the Adrian Girls Training School.
