MAR INTRODUCTION to BOROSILICATE GLASS: Color Drop Pendants

IMPORTANT: Students taking glass courses must wear natural fiber clothing (i.e., cotton shirt and denim jeans), closed toe shoes and hair tied back and out of the way. Loose clothing that will be in the way
of the torch is strongly discouraged.

Prerequisite Class: Introduction to Glass Beadmaking or Permission of Instructor

An introduction to working borosilicate glass. Using an oxygen-propane torch, students will learn the basic techniques for using borosilicate glass to make color drop pendants in various colors. Creating these pendants will help enable students to implement their creating visions for working glass in the torch. Safety, technique and form will be covered.
