INTRO TO BOROSILICATE GLASS third class

Three Thursdays, Nov 2 through Nov 16, 6-9pm. Class Description: An introduction to working borosilicate glass. Using an oxygen-propane torch, students will learn the basic techniques and seals used for working borosilicate glass. These seals and techniques once mastered are the foundation of scientific and artistic glassblowing and will help enable students to implement their creative visions for lampworking. Safety, technique and form will be covered. Students enrolling in the class are strongly recommended to sign up for glass lab to build upon techniques learned in this and the previous course.
