Class Description:

Explore your creative side and wow your friends and family with what you are able to design and create. Basic forming methods in both handbuilding and wheel throwing will be taught along with making and using stamps and glazing methods. This class is designed for beginners with no previous experience required and intermediate students. Generous studio time outside of class will be available throughout the week. All clay and glaze materials are included.

If you are new to clay, a $12 tool kit can be purchased thefirst night of class.

Decoration In-Depth: this section will focus on approaches to decorative surface.

It is helpful for students to bring a towel to stay clean for wheel throwing.  Also a jar or tupperware container for making slip. Buttons, stamps and interesting things to stamp. Wear comfortable clothes you can  get dirty.  Leave rings and bracelets at home!
