Apply for Scholarship

The ACA accepts applications from individuals and non-profit groups. In an effort make money available to the most number of people, scholarships are awarded one time per person or group. If you receive a scholarship, you must register by mail or in person. We can not accept online registration.

  • 75% scholarships are awarded to children and adults with demonstrated financial hardship. These scholarships may be used for a maximum of two classes. To apply you must fill out and submit the Scholarship Application Form and supply documentation; for adults, a State of Michigan Bridge card; for children a free lunch verification from their school.

  • Scholarships directed at specific groups such as non-profits, veterans and people with disabilities are also available with consultation with a Director and approval from the Directors’ Committee of ACA.

  • Donor Scholarships may also be available with requirements stated by the donor in consultation with ACA. Please contact the ACA for current scholarships available.
